Mineral Makeup Comparison
[ links work ] I've had the chance to play with two mineral makeups. In this corner: 1. The popular QVC superstar 'Bare Escentuals"
QVC Website Bare Escentuals Websit
and in this corner:
2. Sheer Cover, of Leeza Gibbons 2am informerical fame.
Bare Escentuals:
You can see the difference. Your skin does look smoother, more even. Just Better. With no feel. You feel as if you get more product as well, the container is heavier in weight and in looks. If you actually GET more product, well, I'll post after I pull out my tinny weight scale and measure.....
Price: Check out QVC's sale:
Bare Minerals 2-piece Powder Foundation & Brush w/SPF 15
Retail Value $47.00 QVC Price $35.00
And in this corner: Sheer Cover:
Container is lighter, cheaper plastic, feels and looks just smaller. Less product? Not sure. Coverage? I don't notice it as much as with Bare Escentuals. But the weird thing is that some days I feel it on, others I don't. Sometimes I just can't WAIT to wash my face, others, it's fine.
I feel the product more sitting on my skin when I don't apply any moisturizer. But with mineral makeup, you really need to apply some moisturizer first. Helps the mineral makeup meld (is that a word?) into your skin better, without it looking like a powdery desert landscape.
Sheer Cover's Product Deal: • Mineral Foundation in two shades • Duo Concealer in two shades • Finishing Powder • 2 brushes and 1 sponge (applicators) • 1 funnel for custom blending • A step-by-step guide filled with important instructions and tips Additional Bonus at no charge • Purifying Cleanser (2 oz) • Nourishing Moisturizer SPF 15 (1 oz) • 20-minute Visual Application Guide At a $29.95 automatic a month price.
Hmmmm... which one would YOU buy?

Well done on a nice blog Blogger. I was searching for information on semi permanent makeup and ran across your post Mineral Makeup Comparison - not exactly what I was looking for related to semi permanent makeup but a very interesting read all the same!
